New Mural in London by Banksy

A large mural was unveiled in Finsbury park in north London on Sunday. Famous street artist Banksy said that the work that is currently in danger of extinction is his.

The image depicts a person spraying green paint on the side of a building. There is a heavily pruned tree in front of it, and its green color resembles a tree canopy from afar.

When the work was discovered there was speculation as to who was behind the painting. It was confirmed that this person was Banksy when the artist posted a photo of the work on his Instagram account.

Member of Parliament and former leader of the British Labor Party, Jeremy Corbyn, said he hoped the artwork painted on a facade in North London would remain and said, "I think it might evoke the following thought: We live in a world, in an environment, and it is vulnerable."
