Akdağmadeni Station Will Serve 135 Thousand Passengers

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Uraloğlu opened the Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​Train (YHT) Line Akdağmadeni Station.

Minister Uraloğlu reminded that with the entry into service of the Ankara-Sivas YHT line, they reduced the Sivas-Ankara travel time, which took an average of 4.5 hours by road and 12 hours by train, to 2 hours, and the distance between Ankara and Yozgat to 1 hour.

Emphasizing that Kırıkkale, Yozgat and Sivas were connected to the Ankara-based high-speed train network with the project, Uraloğlu stated that they have carried 885 thousand passengers on the Ankara-Sivas YHT line since the day it was opened.

He emphasized that the Ankara-Sivas YHT line is not just a line connecting two cities, and said that this line is also the main backbone of the East-West high-speed railway corridor extending from Edirne to Kars. Stating that the high-speed train line connecting Samsun and Ankara will be connected to our Ankara-Sivas Line via Delice, Uraloğlu continued: He explained that with the Sivas-Erzincan, Erzincan-Erzurum, Erzurum-Kars high speed train projects, Dilucu and Ankara high speed train connection will be provided. Uraloğlu underlined that they will extend the construction of high-speed train lines from Kayseri to Mersin and then to Şanlıurfa and from there to the border gate.

YHT STATION WITH 135 THOUSAND PASSENGER CAPACITY

Reminding that there are 8 stations on the line, namely Elmadağ, Kırıkkale, Yerköy, Yozgat, Sorgun, Akdağmadeni, Yıldızeli and Sivas, Uraloğlu reminded that they built Kırıkkale, Yozgat and Sivas High Speed ​​Train stations in the first stage. Uraloğlu said, “Now, we will put Akmağdeni High Speed ​​Train Station into service, one of our other High Speed ​​Train stations that suits this unique line. We built Akmağdeni Train Station on an area of ​​9 thousand square meters with a capacity of 2 thousand passengers. With a closed building area of ​​135 m810, the station will provide service with many social facilities, including a parking lot with a capacity of 2 vehicles and 100 buses, 5 underpass, 1 platforms and a waiting room. Our station was built to suit the Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​Train line with its modern and aesthetic designs. "Now, by opening our Akdağmadeni YHT station, we have built the station buildings of 2 of the 8 stations on our Ankara-Sivas line," he said.

“WE CONTINUE THE 12 HIGHWAY PROJECT IN YOZGAT”

Minister Uraloğlu explained that they have invested 22 billion 72 million liras in Yozgat's transportation and communication infrastructure in 363 years.

Pointing out that they increased the length of the divided road from 44 kilometers to 398 kilometers, Uraloğlu said that they carried out a single road improvement of 316 kilometers. Stating that they have built 22 bridges with a length of 1.692 meters in 45 years, Uraloğlu said, "12 such as Alaca-Zile Road, Yozgat- Yerköy Junction-Musabeyli Provincial Road, Boğazlıyan Junction-Çayıralan-Gemerek Junction, Boğazlıyan - Felahiye - Kayseri Road and Yozgat Airport Connection Road." We continue the highway project. We are also building Yozgat Airport with a modern terminal building, an apron area that can be used by 5 domestic and international aircraft at the same time, and support units that will provide all technical services and services in accordance with international flight standards.
