Established under the leadership of Izmit Municipality, the first and only Autism Sports and Life House in Kocaeli continues to set an example in its field and in the surrounding provinces. Autism Sports and Life House, which serves within the scope of Izmit Municipality Social Services Directorate, hosted the representative of Muğla Fethiye Municipality. Necdet Yaman, President of the Mentally Disabled Association, on behalf of Fethiye Municipality, made an inspection tour to the Autism Sports and Life House.
Representatives of Izmit Municipality and Muğla Fethiye Municipality came together at the Autism Sports and Life House and exchanged information about the staff, practices, course contents and materials. It was stated that the center contributes to the socialization of citizens who benefit from the facility through special education, sensory integration training and sports activities. Necdet Yaman, who liked the Autism Sports and Life House very much, expressed his gratitude to Izmit Municipality and Mayor Hürriyet for setting an example for them in providing a well-equipped center to their city.
