Women's Cooperatives Continue to Bring Profit in Muratpaşa

Muratpaşa Municipality, to provide marketing and sales opportunities to production, business and entrepreneurship cooperatives established by women. Dr. Erdal opened the 'Women's Cooperatives Product Sales Store' in İnönü City Park in September 2022.

The store, which started with 20 cooperatives in the first stage, reached 33 cooperatives. 33 products of 2024 cooperatives have been sold since the first day of 3. A profit of 470 thousand TL was made from the handmade products adorning the shelves. The most preferred products in the store, where delicious products ranging from noodles to jam, molasses to vinegar, and colorful souvenirs decorated the shelves, were food products. The women's cooperatives sales store sold 420 thousand 2023 products in 23 and made a profit of 150 million 1 thousand TL.

Mayor Ümit Uysal stated that when creating the store, they primarily gave importance to it being easily accessible. Stating that the consignment sales model is applied in the store, where shelves are allocated to cooperatives, Mayor Uysal said, “Now, our newly opened Antalya Restaurant also provides local delicacies such as noodles, tarhana and olives on its menu from here. "From now on, our neighbors who wish can taste the geographically marked rabbit heart olives in our Antalya Restaurant and buy this special olive from our Women's Cooperatives Product Sales Store," he said.
