Minister Uraloğlu visited Karabük AK Party Provincial Headquarters in Karabük, where he went to make a series of visits today. KARDEMİR NOW SELLS GOODS NOT ONLY TO TURKEY BUT TO THE WORLD
In his Karabük program, Uraloğlu also visited and inspected the 'Kardemir Iron-Steel Factory', which was the factory that produced the first Turkish iron in 1939. After his observations, Uraloğlu said, "A Karabük that has truly developed with the establishment of Kardemir, a Karabük that has grown, Kardemir now sells goods and serves the world, not only to Karabük, not only to Turkey, but to the world." said.
KARDEMİR PROVIDES DIRECT EMPLOYMENT TO 5 THOUSAND PEOPLE
Uraloğlu stated that Kardemir has carried out some studies on rail production, wheel production and future bogie production for railways and said, “I express my satisfaction to see it on site. We are talking about a sector that provides direct employment opportunities to 5 thousand people. This is valuable for all of us. At the same time, it is a sector, an organization that tries to make a complete contribution to Turkey by developing not only classic products but also some projects, together with its sub-industry.” he said.
Uraloğlu, who met with Kardemir Iron-Steel Factory workers for lunch, made the following statements:
“I was with fellow workers at lunch. One of our brothers, who entered 4 years ago, replaced his father. There was such a tradition. From father to son. I think this is a good incentive. That's why I congratulate those who carry out this tradition.”
Minister Uraloğlu stated that the wheels on Marmaray's train sets were also made in Kardemir and said, "I saw this with pleasure, and I would like to underline that Kardemir's main growth period was during the AK Party governments." said.

But the main expectation in the surrounding provinces is to open the region to trade. Uraloğlu stated that, as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, an investment of approximately 18,5 billion lira was made in Karabük and said, “We increased the length of the divided road from 7 kilometers to 116 kilometers.
