Including the neighborhoods included in the program this year, Turkey's largest pasture improvement project was implemented in 10 neighborhoods in 148 years. The fact that there are still serious demands for the project clearly shows how accurate and useful the implementation is.
With the project, 270.399 decares of pasture land (81% of the Provincial Pasture) were included in the scope of the project. 121.995 kg of 36.52*2.917.650*20 compound fertilizer was applied to 20 decares of this area (0% of the provincial pasture).
Calculating an increase of 121.995 kg of grass in an area of 150 decares, it is estimated that approximately 36.598 tons of roughage was obtained during the project implementation. Considering the quality forage deficit of our province, the importance of the amount of grass obtained is understood.

Our Pasture Improvement and Management project is one of our biggest projects that we have been implementing for 9 years to ensure more efficient use of our pastures, which are the free grass source of our rural neighborhoods. We included 2023 more neighborhoods within the scope of the project in 10 in order to increase the grass productivity of the pastures that have lost their qualifications and cannot be produced at a sufficient level. Within the scope of the Pasture Improvement and Management Project that we started in 2015, we rehabilitated a total of 121.995 decares of pasture. With the improvement made, we aim to increase the yield by 50 times to 4 kilograms in areas where the grass yield drops to 200 kilograms. Thus, enterprises that want to engage in livestock farming economically will meet a significant part of their quality forage needs from meadows and pastures.
