All IETT vehicles serving in Istanbul are cleaned in detail by expert teams every day. With these works carried out in 16 different garages of IETT, vehicle interiors are made hygienic and prepared for the trip again.
IETT, the long-established institution of IMM, provides public transportation services with approximately 6 vehicles every day in every point of Istanbul.
3500 VEHICLES ARE CLEANED EVERY DAY
The vehicles in IETT's own fleet, which number over 3, undergo a vigorous cleaning effort every day after duty.
With these works carried out in 16 different garages of IETT, every part of the buses related to the passengers is cleaned in detail with special cleaning products and the vehicle interiors are made hygienic.
In addition to all these works, all vehicles are subjected to a more comprehensive cleaning process every month. Thus, IETT vehicles go on a new and clean journey every morning for 16 million Istanbulites.
