“Sports is life itself”
In his speech here, Mayor Osman Zolan stated that youth is a treasure and that, as the Metropolitan Municipality, they support young people with all their means. Mayor Zolan said, “We attach great importance to the amateur spirit and amateur sports. Sports means health, discipline, development of team spirit, and being able to accept winning or losing. Sports is life itself. We have been striving to breathe new life into our sports clubs and increase their opportunities by providing cash support for 11 years. "Today, we will provide financial support to 253 clubs," he said. Reminding that facilities are very important for the development of sports, Mayor Zolan said that, as the Metropolitan Municipality, they continue their efforts in this regard.
Towards the end at the Barrier-Free Sports and Life Center
Pointing out that the construction of the Metropolitan Municipality Barrier-Free Sports and Life Center, which will be one of the most modern facilities in Turkey in terms of facilities, is nearing completion, Mayor Zolan said, “Denizli has become an envied and highlighted city. We have undertaken beautiful projects in the name of both urbanism and protecting our youth. We will open our facility, which also includes a gym and swimming pool, where physical disabilities are eliminated for our disabled brothers and sisters through appropriate sports. "At the same time, we will be proud to open our Barrier-Free Sports and Life Center, which includes training halls and social areas that will increase the equipment of our disabled brothers and sisters according to their educational status, in a few months," he said.

Addressing the amateur sports club managers, Mayor Zolan said, “We are with you. It is our first duty to cure your problems and support your efforts. We have walked together until today, you trusted us and we trusted you. Our club managers, parents and athletes who are devoted to this work are very valuable to us. Hopefully we will continue to walk together, hand in hand. If we are together, hand in hand, arm in arm, there is no obstacle we cannot overcome, no goal we cannot reach. I would like to thank you very much for your selfless work to protect our young people and prepare them for the future. Saving one person is worth saving the world. Denizli ASKF President Ceşen stated that he was very happy that the Metropolitan Municipality's support program for amateur sports clubs was organized for the 11th time and expressed his gratitude to Mayor Zolan for this huge support. Ceşen said, “This valuable aid helps our children meet sports, do sports and organize activities. Today is the holiday of amateurs. "I would like to thank our President and his team for making us experience this holiday regardless of branch," he said. Denizli Youth Services and Sports Director İlman stated that they have always received the support of Mayor Zolan for the development of sports in Denizli and said, “I would like to express my gratitude to our President. Last year, we hosted over 22 thousand athletes in our city with the support of our President. "Our Denizli, which is a brand city in production and industry, is rapidly progressing towards becoming a brand city in sports with these good works," he said.
253 TL to 7.200.000 amateur sports clubs
After the speeches, Denizli ASKF President Ceşen presented a sword and a plaque to Mayor Zolan for his support to sports and athletes. Later, in the program, which was organized in two parts: football and other branches, Mayor Zolan gave financial support checks for a total of 253 TL, with the minimum being 20 thousand TL, to 7.200.000 amateur sports clubs. The program ended with a souvenir photo shoot.
