Schools were closed in 5 districts of Antalya

As you may remember, the downpour that started yesterday evening in Antalya brought with it the flood, and many vehicles were submerged in Antalya, where puddles formed on the roads.

The lifeless body of a person was found in a vehicle stuck in the underpass in Kepez.

In the written statement made by the Antalya Governorship, it was stated that in order to avoid any disruption in public services, especially education, due to the ongoing weather conditions throughout the province and to prevent citizens from experiencing any difficulties, as of Wednesday, February 14, education in 5 central districts of Aksu, Döşemealtı, Kepez, Konyaaltı and Muratpaşa will be closed. It was announced that education in these institutions was suspended for 1 day.

The Governorship also deemed female public personnel with children between the ages of 0-6 working in public institutions to be on administrative leave for 1 day.
