Project Call to Mayor Candidates

This week's guest of the 'Economy First' program broadcast on Everybody Duysun TV screens, moderated by Gülay Soydan Pehlevan, was Bursa AFSİAD Chairman of the Board of Directors İlker Duran. Duran made predictions for the economy in 2024 and called for projects to the Mayoral candidates.

Stating that industry and trade are at the center of the purpose of Bursa Afyonkarahisar Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (AFSİAD), Duran said, “Bursa is a very valuable city that adds value to the economy, industry and trade in Turkey. As people living in this city, we wanted to combine the success here with Afyonkarahisar in terms of trade. “We have undertaken an important mission.” said.

'BURSA NEEDS TO IMPROVE COOPERATION WITH NEARBY CITIES'

Stating that there is a strong competition in the world in general, Mayor Duran said, “Competition is not between countries, but between cities. Therefore, Bursa needs to take its place in the world competition with its economy, tourism and deep-rooted history. "In order to take part in the competition, it needs to develop cooperation with cities close to it." he said.

Stating that Afyonkarahisar is a producing city, İlker Duran said that when these points are combined with Bursa's experiences, a very productive cooperation can emerge.
