Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül gave a message of gratitude for the high attendance at the candidate promotion meeting held at the 11 April Indoor Sports Hall with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In his message, Mayor Beyazgül said, "Dear fellow citizens of Şanlıurfa, your intense participation in the introductory meeting of 11 district mayoral candidates held at the 13 April Indoor Sports Hall with the attendance of our President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and your deep love for our President, as always, made us very happy. Tens of thousands of our citizens who came to the April 11 Indoor Sports Hall showed us, with the words of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, that 'Şanlıurfa has made its decision'.
On this occasion, it should be noted that we are on the verge of a historical turning point as a country and nation. On March 31, our valued citizens will make an important choice to continue services, investment and development. As always, the will of our people will be manifested once again. As in the whole country, we will continue to crown the existing services in both our metropolitan municipality and our 13 district municipalities in Şanlıurfa, to remove every obstacle in front of our citizens, and to comfort every sad heart, day and night.
We would also like to thank our Ministers, our Deputy Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Bekir Bozdağ, our Deputy Chairman, our MPs, our MKYK members, and our Party organizations who gave us strength by being among us with these feelings and thoughts. We express our heartfelt gratitude and deepest respect to all our citizens, who showed extraordinary interest and participation, turned our candidate introduction meeting into a feast, and brought the spirit of brotherhood to the top in the name of unity and solidarity.
