Parking Problem in İnegöl is Solved by Expropriation

While new residential areas are being created in İnegöl, which is rapidly growing and developing, steps continue to be taken to make life easier in existing residential areas. In order to combat the traffic congestion and parking problem experienced especially with the increasing population in the centre, İnegöl Municipality produces neighborhood car parks in every suitable area. In areas where there is no parking space, new car parks are opened by expropriation and new car parks are put into service.

WHEN EXPROPRIATIONS ARE COMPLETED, A PARKING PARK FOR 60 CARS WILL BE ESTABLISHED

In this context, İnegöl Municipality has recently initiated a study for the expropriation of two parcels in Kemalpaşa District Derviş Street. The expropriation of a parcel was completed in the region where steps were taken regarding expropriation at the beginning of the period. The idle garden with an area of 356 m2 was expropriated for 575 thousand TL. With the expropriation of the second parcel, work has begun to temporarily organize a 60 m356 area in the area where a parking lot is planned where a total of 2 vehicles can be parked safely.

THE NUMBER OF VEHICLES IS INCREASING WITH THE POPULATION

Mayor Alper Taban examined the works carried out by the Directorate of Technical Affairs in the region today with the accompanying delegation. Giving information about the works here, Mayor Taban said, “We are examining the ongoing parking lot works at the intersection of Derviş Street and Hacı Süleyman Street in Kemalpaşa District. We provide services in many areas in our city, from infrastructure to superstructure, from culture to art, from social assistance to sports. Our İnegöl is also growing rapidly. With this growth, both our population and the number of vehicles are increasing. "According to 2024 data, our population increased by around 5 thousand and we have officially reached 300 thousand," he said.

AREA IS CREATED THROUGH EXPROPRIATIONS

Noting that the need for parking in neighborhoods has increased with these increases, Mayor Taban continued as follows: “We are already quickly arranging the areas with parking in the plans and converting them into car parks. However, there are also car parks that we built through expropriation. "The work here is one of the areas where we expropriate."

PARKING PARKING FOR 60-70 CARS WILL BE OBTAINED

“There are two parcels here. The expropriation of the parcel with an area of 356 m2 has been completed. Our friends removed the surrounding wall here. In the first stage, the material will be laid for ground settlement and it will be put into service for use as a car park. Approximately 20 vehicles will be parked here. When the expropriation on the adjacent parcel is completed, the ground covering will be done here and a parking lot for approximately 60-70 vehicles will be created. This process is currently ongoing. I think the work done is very valuable. “We are taking steps to eliminate these deficiencies.”

PLANNED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TERM

“The implementation is a work planned at the beginning of the semester. However, these are long-term works. Expropriation can take time. "We continue to implement these practices as the court processes are completed."
