Manisa Water and Sewerage Administration (MASKİ) General Directorate will lay 1980 kilometers of new transmission line instead of the existing line laid in the 7s in order to carry Bahçecik Natural Spring Water to Salihli district center in a healthier and higher efficiency manner. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and People's Alliance Metropolitan Mayor Candidate Cengiz Ergün also examined the works on site and made the first symbolic source. Mayor Cengiz Ergün said, “We will lay 1980 kilometers of new transmission line instead of the existing line laid in the 7s in order to carry Bahçecik Natural Spring Water to Salihli district center in a healthier and more efficient manner. We will provide natural spring water to all our citizens by bringing Salihli Bahçecik Natural Spring Water, whose pipe purchase tender was held on January 31 and whose construction tender will be held on February 27, to the center of Salihli. GIANT INVESTMENT OF 100 MILLION TL
MASKİ General Manager Burak Aslay said, “Under the instructions of our esteemed President Cengiz Ergün, we will carry out a 7-kilometer steel transmission line work in order to carry Bahçecik Natural Spring Water to the district center with higher efficiency. We are coming from a very long process. First, we measured our resources, received their allocations, and finally, after obtaining the necessary permits, we held our pipe purchase tender for 22 Million TL. We have a construction tender on February 27. It will be a huge investment exceeding 100 Million TL in total. Nearly one-third of Salihli uses natural spring water, but now we will supply Bahçecik Natural Spring Water to the entire Salihli district center. Hilmi Serkan Emir, Head of Investment and Construction Department, said, “We held the pipe purchase tender on January 31 in order to carry Salihli Bahçecik Natural Spring Water to Salihli district center, and there is a construction tender on February 27. When the process is completed, we will start our manufacturing activities with an investment value exceeding 100 million TL. "By renewing our line, we will bring the long-awaited Bozdağ waters to Salihli," he said.
