At the meeting held at Kastamonu Şerife Bacı Teacher's House, President İzzet Sarı and the members of the board of directors held consultations by explaining the problems of local newspapers in Anatolia. Sarı, who wanted the practice of publishing forest tender announcements in newspapers, which was implemented by forestry directorates until 2015, to be restarted, expressed the financial difficulties experienced by newspapers for this reason.
Stating that they attach importance to local newspapers, Minister Yumaklı thanked Mayor Sarı and the members of the board of directors and stated that he will strive to solve the problem. During the visit, Minister Yumaklı was given a souvenir copy of Açıksöz Newspaper, where the National Anthem was first published.
