“WE AGAIN HAVE ACHIEVED A FIRST IN THE HISTORY OF TOKAT MUNICIPALITY”
Mayor Eyüp Eroğlu, in his statement, stated that Tokat Municipality made history once again with this move. Eroğlu, who has committed to protecting the rights and laws of employees throughout his term of office, underlined that the municipality is one of the rare debt-free municipalities. Eroğlu said, “We have achieved a first in the history of Tokat Municipality. We have continued to protect the rights and laws of our valuable colleagues with whom we serve Tokat since the first day we took office. We are currently among the few municipalities in Turkey that do not have any debt to municipal staff, including bonuses. We have always stood by our valuable colleagues who work hard for our city and work with love for this city. From now on, hopefully we will continue this in the new period.
As a result of our negotiations with our union, we made an 87.71% improvement in the salaries of our fellow workers with the additional protocol. And we made this valid as of January 01. "May it be good for our Tokat and our colleagues," he said.
