Construction of Wire Mesh Steel Factory Started in Samsun

Wire Mesh Steel Factory is being built in Tekkeköy district by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality. Metropolitan Municipality Technical Affairs Department Head Nurettin Özbey stated that the factory construction has started and said, "This project will provide serious added value and additional employment to our municipality."

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, which provides great savings in infrastructure and superstructure works with the materials it produces, brings another important production facility to Samsun. The Metropolitan Municipality, which reduces costs by establishing concrete plants, crusher plants, Curb Lock Parquet and Concrete Pipe Factory, will also produce mesh steel, which is of great importance in road and superstructure works. In this context, the construction of the Hasır Steel Factory, which will be built on an area of ​​600 square meters in Tekkeköy District, has started. The construction of the factory, whose basic operations have been completed, is planned to be completed within 2 months.

Providing information about the construction of the Wire Mesh Steel Factory, Metropolitan Municipality Technical Affairs Department Head Nurettin Özbey said, “We provide high efficiency and savings in infrastructure and superstructure works by carrying out our work with our own team, equipment and materials. In this sense, crusher plants and concrete plants were first established. Now we have started the construction of the Wire Mesh Steel Factory. We are building the factory on an area of ​​600 square meters. Basic operations continue. We will complete our work by the end of March. We will now start producing our own wire mesh. We will use this mesh steel both on our roads and in some superstructure projects. We will also produce mesh steel used in concrete pipes over a certain diameter produced in the Curbstone, Lock Paving and Concrete Pipe Factory here. "This project will provide significant added value and additional employment to our municipality," he said.
