Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, Rural Services Department has started the application process for the first chickpea seed support of 2024, with 90 percent grant.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced the start of the process on his social media accounts, saying, "The application process for Chickpea Seed Support for Producers in the Capital City is starting."
The support amount will be deposited into the Başkent farmer card.

Local producers who meet the conditions will benefit from the chickpea seed support, which has a strategic importance in agriculture and is among the products with high economic value. Granted chickpea seed support will be deposited into the farmers' Capital Farmer Card and can be obtained from seed dealers with whom ABB has an agreement.
While this support program aims to diversify agricultural production and increase farmers' income levels, a significant acceleration is expected in chickpea production.
