Stating that they have made huge investments for Manisa in the last 15 years and 10 years as a Metropolitan Municipality, Mayor Ergün said, “Our citizens see these, and we are trying to explain them. We are trying to explain it in the best possible way on the field with our Provincial Directorates, District Directorates and Ülkü Ocakları. We have made huge investments in Manisa, worth over 10 billion, just in the 11 years we have been a metropolitan city. First of all, development plans in Manisa could not be made for 35 years. Our people living in the center of Manisa could not develop in terms of urban planning due to the lack of plans. "Thankfully, by passing this through our parliament, we have prepared plans for the next 30 years with new zoning plans in the Şehzadeler and Yunusemre districts, to create a Manisa that breaks its shell at the point of development," he said.

Giving examples of the positive benefits of making zoning plans, Mayor Ergün said, “There was Gediz Junction. We completed the 18 applications there and delivered them to our Ministry of Transport for the construction of the junction connecting our Istanbul and Ankara line. The tender is currently with the ministry. "This will be one of the biggest investments in the new period," he said. Stating that the construction of the Independence Museum continues and that the Malta Covered Car Park project will start in a short time, Mayor Ergün also emphasized the importance of the Cider Road Project. Adding that they have created a sparkling Manisa with prestigious street arrangements, Mayor Ergün stated that they will undertake projects that will carry Manisa to the future in the new period.
