Samsun Metropolitan Municipality is bringing a FIFA standard football field to Canik district. The construction of the Football Field with a spectator capacity of 865 people has started.
Samsun Metropolitan Municipality continues its investments in the field of sports in the city. The Metropolitan Municipality, which has completed important projects that strengthen the sports infrastructure, is also building a football field at FIFA standards in Canik District. The construction work on the project has started and the work continues uninterruptedly. The Canik Football Field project, with a capacity of 865 spectators, consists of a synthetic football field, tribune area, cafe, coach rooms, locker rooms, fitness center and parking lot.
Providing information about the project, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Technical Affairs Department Head Nurettin Özbey said, “Samsun is a sports city. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we have brought new sports facilities to our city and we continue to do so. We built many sports fields in Atakum and İlkadım. In our Canik district, we are providing a football field with a spectator capacity of 865 people, where professional football matches at FIFA standards can be played and training can be done. It is a facility with a closed area of approximately 363 square meters. "We are making an excellent sports investment for Samsun and Canik," he said.
