Bursa Metropolitan Municipality continues its environmental investments uninterruptedly with the aim of healthy urbanization and making Bursa a 'green' city again.

Stating that they have been working non-stop despite all the negative events in the last 5 years, Mayor Aktaş said, “We have made important works and investments in Orhangazi, which is our gateway to Istanbul and is constantly developing. To date, we have manufactured 98 kilometers of drinking water network lines, 25 kilometers of transmission lines, 4 kilometers of spring source lines, 32 kilometers of sewer lines, 38 kilometers of rainwater lines, 2 irrigation pools, 1 tanker filling facility, and 9 water tanks. We provided our district with a strong infrastructure by cleaning 1,2 kilometers of streams against floods and floods. We completed 14 kilometers of surface coating with 140 kilometers of hot asphalt. We made the roads of our district comfortable by manufacturing 2 bridges. Approximately 200 thousand square meters of area was covered with parquet. We reconsidered an area of 280 thousand square meters on the Orhangazi coast. We did not touch the natural structure of the 165 thousand square meter pine forest area. Agriculture is an important issue in Orhangazi, as in every district. The ownership of our park belongs to Orhangazi Municipality. We arranged green areas by preserving the existing texture. We also completely renewed the lighting and irrigation systems. We also completed the maintenance and repair works in the children's playground and fitness area. We made it a more comfortable space with the arrangements and renovations we made on the hard floors.
