Battalgazi Atabey Ferry Port, which was worn out and damaged, is being renewed by Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Services Department.
The Metropolitan Municipality has completed the work it had initiated to eliminate the problems encountered especially in vehicle unloading and loading as a result of the damage to the docking ramps of the ferries operating on the Malatya-Baskil transportation route and the changes in the water level.
Malatya Metropolitan Municipality, which is working to ensure that citizens traveling between Malatya and Baskil using the ferries on the Karakaya Dam Lake receive better quality and safer service, has decided to renew the ferry docking ramps of Battalgazi Atabey Pier and Baskil Fethi Sekin Pier as a result of its negotiations with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
In line with the decision taken, as a result of the cooperation of the Metropolitan Municipality and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the pier ramps on both sides were renewed and put into service.
