Former Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu, together with AK Party Provincial Chairman Davut Gürkan, visited Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş in his office.
At the meeting, consultations were held about the work done in the past and planned to be done in the future.

Mayor Aktaş thanked the people of Bursa for the services provided to Bursa and said, “Our Minister Prof. Dr. With the experience of Veysel Eroğlu, important works were implemented in the center and districts of Bursa. We are very happy to host a name who made great contributions to Bursa from our city. We want to benefit from his experiences. We had discussions about ongoing work and work to be done. Expressing his great pleasure to be in Bursa, Former Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu stated that he has a special bond with Bursa, where he did his first internship during his student years at ITU.
Explaining that he tried to pay his debt of loyalty to Bursa with the projects he carried out during the İSKİ and DSI periods, Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu said, “Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, is a magnificent city. It is our duty to serve this city. During my ministry period, we carried out many major projects for Bursa. One of the places where most investments are made in Turkey is Bursa. We built ponds and recreational areas and provided serious support to our farmers and forest villagers. We rehabilitated most of the streams. We planted trees in many parts of the city. We created 15 honey forests in Bursa. We established automatic meteorology measurement stations in all our districts. We developed a project called '4 Seasons Uludağ'. Çınarcık Dam is currently being built. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality will bring water to the city in a magnificent way and the city's water needs will be solved by 2071. Again, a treatment plant and other facilities are being built in Uludağ by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. I believe that the people of Bursa will show the necessary favor to our President Alinur Aktaş, who has been nominated for office again. I wholeheartedly believe that our President Alinur Aktaş will achieve better things with his experience. Let it not be forgotten that I am also a servant of Bursa. We are always at the disposal of this city. As an honorary citizen, I stand with Bursa and the Metropolitan Municipality. "We will continue to work for Bursa, the pearl of the world," he said.
At the end of the visit, President Alinur Aktaş presented Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu was given a tile vase as a gift in memory of the day.
