With the coordination of Kocaeli AFAD Provincial Directorate, the Kocaeli Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Plan (İRAP) 2023 Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (IDK) Meeting was held in the Kocaeli AFAD central hall. Stakeholders responsible for the actions attended the meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Governor Mustafa Ayhan. At the meeting, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Head Ömer İslamoğlu, Kocaeli University Lecturer Prof. Dr. Bülent Oruç, Kocaeli AFAD Provincial Director Mehmet Emin Koçan, Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Provincial Director Ahmet Kırılmaz and representatives of responsible institutions and organizations were present.

At the İDK meeting, the institutions and organizations responsible for the actions within the scope of the Kocaeli Provincial Risk Reduction Plan (İRAP) made presentations and gave information about the current status of the actions they are responsible for. At the meeting, ISU, KBB Department of Technical Affairs, KBB Department of Planning and Urbanization, KBB Fire Department and KBB Urban Transformation Department also made presentations and provided information about the current status of the actions they are responsible for.
