Cartoon Oscars Meet Art Lovers

The 39th Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition Exhibition, known as the Oscars of Cartoon, was opened with a ceremony held at Eskişehir Atatürk Culture Art and Congress Center.

Organized by Aydın Doğan Foundation; The cartoons that received awards and were deemed worthy of being exhibited in the 39th Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition, which is described as the "World's number one cartoon competition" by the authorities, where works that shed light on the world's agenda competed, were presented for viewing at Eskişehir Atatürk Culture Art and Congress Center.

CHP Eskişehir Deputy Jale Nur Süllü, Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General M. Recai Erdir, bureaucrats, guests and many art lovers attended the opening of the 39th Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition Exhibition.

Speaking at the opening, Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General M. Recai Erdir stated that they were very happy that the 39th Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition Exhibition, known as the Oscars of cartoons, met with art lovers in Eskişehir and said, "Our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Prof. Dr. I also convey Yılmaz Büyükerşen's love and greetings. We are honored to host this beautiful exhibition in our city. All art lovers should definitely come and see the beautiful works. “I congratulate all the artists and those who contributed.” said.

After the speeches, the participants closely examined the works in the exhibition of award-winning cartoons.

Winner of the first three awards at the 39th Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition, artist Pawel Kuczynski from Poland, artist Elena Ospina from Colombia, artist Halit Kurtulmuş Aytoslu from Turkey, Oğuzhan Çiftçi, winner of the Strong Girls Strong Tomorrows special award, and China, winners of the achievement awards. The works of Xiaoqiang Hou from the People's Republic, Zygmunt Zaradkiewicz from Poland and Muhammet Şengöz from Turkey, as well as works deemed worthy of exhibition, will be open to art lovers at Eskişehir Atatürk Culture Art and Congress Center until January 28.
