Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Department of Technical Affairs renewed the walking paths, parking areas, patient loading and unloading platforms, disabled access roads, vehicle roads, seating areas and green areas in the State Hospital area, which serves thousands of patients a day, at a cost of 12 million 750 thousand TL. The Metropolitan Municipality added additional areas to the landscaping work it carried out last year at the State Hospital and completed its work on a total area of approximately 50 thousand square meters. In the work carried out this year alone, the teams paved 3 square meters of pedestrian paths in the polyclinics area, a parking lot for 500 vehicles, disabled ramps and exit stairs were repaired, and asphalt paved roads were made, making the hospital surroundings a spacious and useful structure. With the last section built, approximately 200 thousand tons of hot asphalt was used around the hospital.
In this context, Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç examined the services whose renovation works were completed on site. During the trip to Mayor Büyükkılıç, AK Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Fatih Üzüm, State Hospital Chief Physician Assoc. Dr. He was accompanied by İsmail Altıntop and Deputy Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality Ali Hasdal.
Büyükkılıç, who also visited the tradesmen around Kayseri State Hospital, expressed his gratitude to the citizens and tradesmen who patiently waited for this service to be completed. Healthcare personnel, tradesmen and citizens also thanked Mayor Büyükkılıç and his team and said, “It was really nice. “God bless you, it was wonderful,” they said.
Making a statement during the environmental planning work review of Kayseri State Hospital, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, "We are displaying the best examples of the solidarity between Kayseri's public institutions and local governments."

Kayseri State Hospital Chief Physician Assoc. Dr. İsmail Altıntop also thanked Mayor Büyükkılıç and said, “We would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor, the specialist doctor, our brother, as well as our Metropolitan Municipality and all our friends who contributed here. Our state hospital in the center of Kayseri consisted of 13 different blocks, and we are currently actively using 75 percent of them. We have 210 physicians. Our citizens may have difficulty going back and forth between these blocks, so we are building special walking areas, walking paths and tartan tracks for them. Hopefully, we have reached the final stage of the project this month. Today, we visited and looked around with our President Memduh. "We thank him very much from the people of Kayseri," he said.
Stating that they received positive feedback from the citizens receiving service from the hospital, hospital employees and surrounding tradesmen, Altıntop said, “The feedback to us, especially from our patients, is very positive.
