Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made statements about the Samsun-Sarp project in a live broadcast he attended. He said that project work on the railway from Samsun, which includes Ordu, to Sarp has been started.
Minister Uraloğlu said the following regarding the issue:
“When I visualize the map; There is a line that will start from Ovaköy, which I just mentioned, and continue until Kapıkule. Gaziantep, Osmaniye and Mersin… Our high-speed train work continues here. Our project work, which will go from there to Ulukışla, Karaman and Aksaray, has been completed. After Karaman, you already come to Istanbul. We have a high-speed train line that runs from Istanbul to Kapıkule. On the other hand, we have completed the project of the line that will be connected to Çorum and Amasya from Delice district of Kırıkkale, which will be connected to Samsun. We also started project work from Samsun to Sarp. "In the 2053 projection, we will directly introduce high-speed train to 52 provinces."
