CULTURAL HERITAGE SCHOOL OUR SECOND PROGRAM

Malatya City Council Historical and Cultural Activities Working Group Representative Orhan Tuğrulca said, “This is our second program of our History and Cultural Heritage school. What is the status of Malatya in the archive documents of the Malatya population? What's in the archives? What topics were covered? We came together because we were curious about these and similar issues. We hosted our valuable researcher Yunus Yiğit, who has been working on these for a long time. "I would like to thank our teacher and everyone who participated," he said.

IT WAS A GOOD PROGRAM AND WORK

Researcher Yunus Yiğit, who made a general evaluation after the presentation titled 'Ottoman Archive Documents and Malatya', said, "I was a guest of Malatya City Council's Cultural Heritage School program. Earthquake in Malatya during the Ottoman period, Malatya population books, Malatya kadı registers, Sultansuyu Stud Farm, etc. I presented a few documents in the archive to the participants. I stated that these data are important on the Malatya scale. We have expressed some suggestions for the route to be followed by the civil and administrative units in Malatya in order to access these documents more easily. I think it is a good program and work. "I hope that these works will continue with better and more intense agendas in the coming days," he said.

The program ended with questions and answers asked by the participants.
