AHBS Problem Erupted in Family Medicine!

A dispute arose between the Family Physicians Federation (AHEF) and Meditek company regarding Family Medicine Information Systems (AHBS). AHEF made a statement: "The obligation to resolve the current defects now belongs to the company itself."
Making a statement about the dispute, AHEF Board of Directors provided the following information: “
INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT AHEF AHBS
AHEF-Meditek cooperation started on December 21, 2021, and over two years, AHEF-AHBS has made continuous progress in terms of both content and number of users. This progress has been achieved through the devoted efforts of AHEF activists and the support of the field, and the interests of active users as well as the interests of AHEF have been taken into consideration. It has shown that AHEF-AHBS has become a brand in the hands of AHEF's activists.
We Tried to Reach an Agreement with AHEF Meditek Company Officials…
As the AHEF Board of Directors, we sought the opportunity to reach an agreement with Meditek company officials for the coming years, starting from November 1, 2023, but all the doors we opened in this regard were closed by the company. While the number of users increased from approximately 2 to 200 in 2000 years, the efforts of AHEF and its activists were ignored and it was said that AHEF was not a brand. AHEF was accused of a constant loss-making polemic and the basis for the agreement was sabotaged. It has become obvious that they do not want to sign a new contract with the ridiculous contract terms presented to us. Of course, this comfort of the company stems from the confidence that it will not bear any responsibility for AHEF after its contract with AHEF ends. In the final analysis, the AHEF AHBS brand existed in the field with the well-intentioned agreement made during the previous AHEF Board of Directors period, but this existence was ignored by the company.

The Company Preferred to Send SMS to Users Instead of Negotiating
Although the AHBS contract we made with the Meditek company expired as of December 21, for the reasons we explained; Today, the company sent an SMS to all users stating that the AHEF Board of Directors victimized physicians. From the date of termination of the Contract with the Company, it belongs to us as it should be. http://www.ahefahbs.com The address has been disconnected from the company website and has been prevented from promoting under our name. The company requested redirection for updates on December 27, and we, as the Board of Directors, stated that there should be a new contract for the royalty fee and other situations, and declared that it could be agreed upon if the necessary conditions are met. However, instead of ensuring the agreement, the company preferred to update each user via SMS.
Legal and Technical Relationship was Terminated
In the next period, with a plan that we will announce to you soon, AHEF AHBS will continue to stand on the ground more firmly, with longer-term and smooth steps, with a new software called AHBS. As is our desire and responsibility, as previous boards of directors did; AHEF's interests come before everything else. We will not allow anyone to disregard the AHEF brand. Our Provincial Associations and AHEF AHBS Users; We are sure that you will provide the necessary support and protect AHEF's Brand Value. We would like you to know that the disruptions experienced by Meditek in the post-contract period have no connection with AHEF. Since the Company did not want the current Agreement to continue, the legal and technical relationship between AHEF and the Company was terminated unilaterally by Meditek Company. The obligation to eliminate existing defects now belongs to the company itself. As a matter of fact, it is known by everyone that its name is now Meditek AHBS, not AHEF AHBS. The messages sent by the Company to its users on the night of the end of the contract are the clearest example of the company's lack of understanding and AHEF being shown as a target.
AHEF is Ready to Provide Support within the Scope of Consumer Law
As the AHEF Board of Directors, legal processes have been initiated regarding the smear campaigns carried out by the Company on behalf of AHEF. During the ongoing individual contracts between family physicians and ahbs companies, the companies have the responsibility not to disrupt the service. We are ready to provide legal support to every family doctor under Ahef, including 'Consumer Law', regarding the problems they experience regarding Family Medicine Information Systems. AHEF will be the closest follower of this issue.
