In addition to current students, students who apply during the semester break participate in special education programs on science and technology in workshops and discovery areas.
Samsun Discovery, built by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality in Emek Park in Atakum district, aims to ensure that children who will produce the technologies of the future are intertwined with science and educated with knowledge-based systems.
Educational activities continue on the campus. 3 students in the 9-11 age group, who have successfully completed the exam they have previously taken, receive education at Samsun Discovery Campus, where training programs have been created within the scope of the cooperation with the T300 Foundation. The first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year was completed with the project festival held at Samsun Discovery Campus. Educational studies at the institution continue without a break during the semester break. Apart from the 1 students who were selected by exam and received education here during the semester, students who wanted to receive education here applied through the official website of the institution. 300 students, whose applications were evaluated, attended a 150-day training workshop here during the semester break. It was stated that students who wish to participate in a 2-day training workshop at the institution until February 2, 2024.
Samsun Discovery Campus, which is also supported by TÜBİTAK, Governorship, Provincial Directorate of National Education, Ondokuz Mayıs University and Samsun University for educational activities, offers mathematics, physics, astronomy, space and aviation, technology, chemistry and human science, nature, personal development, supportive It includes education, enterprise, production and test-build workshops and their exploration areas.

Providing information about the education offered to students at Samsun Discovery Campus, Metropolitan Municipality Science Schools Deputy Coordinator Birol Genç said, “We have completed the first semester of the academic year at our Samsun Discovery Campus. Our students went on semester break with the project festival we organized. However, our training activities continue during the semester break. Apart from these students, we continue to provide service to other students studying at various schools in our city during the semester break. Following the online applications, these students attended the 1-day training programs we prepared for them. "Training activities for these students will continue until the end of the week," he said.

The trainings we organize with the spiral curriculum method allow our students to learn concepts by trying and experiencing them.
