The Republican People's Party's mayoral candidate for 4 districts in Bursa was announced after the Party Assembly meeting.
In CHP, first the Central Executive Board and then the Party Assembly convened under the chairmanship of Chairman Özgür Özel with the local election agenda.
The names whose candidacies were announced in Bursa after the Party Assembly meeting are as follows:
Büyükorhan: Mustafa Oktay
Kestel: Cevat Asa
Mustafakemalpaşa: Şükrü Erdem
Yenişehir: Sadi Aktaş
Making a statement after the candidacy of 4 names was announced, Republican People's Party Bursa Provincial Chairman Nihat Yeşiltaş stated the following:
“May the names announced by our Party Assembly for the mayoral candidacy of our 4 districts be beneficial to our party and Bursa. All 4 of our candidates know the problems in their districts. Our candidates have high public opinion and we are ahead in the polls. Our staff and solutions to problems are ready. We will win a historic victory in Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and 31 districts on the evening of March 17. For this goal, we are together with our Metropolitan Mayor Candidate Mustafa Bozbey, our district mayor candidates and our organization.
