Protocol members visited public employees who were on duty on New Year's Eve and tradesmen who provided services to citizens in their workplaces.
The protocol visited the police officers on duty at the İnegöl Police Department station, and then visited the Police Department and the employees of the Analysis Center serving in the İnegöl Municipality. As part of the protocol, they also visited the police officers who were injured as a result of the accident at the İnegöl State Hospital emergency room and wished them a speedy recovery. The protocol then visited the teams of the Fire Department and İnegöl Municipality that continue their cleaning work in the area, and then visited the tradesmen. Citizens also celebrated the New Year with visits to the taxi stand and Atatürk Boulevard shopkeepers.
Making a statement during the New Year's visits, İnegöl Mayor Alper Taban said, “We are making our visits on New Year's Eve. 2023 has been an eventful year. It has been a year that we have experienced with all its beauties, earthquakes, pains and sweets. May God grant good health and wellness to our country, our nation, our citizens, and the entire ummah in 2024. I pray to God that the misfortunes experienced in the world will end. "I wish everyone a nice and pleasant new year," he said.
AK Party District Leader Mustafa Durmuş said, “On February 2023, 6, we experienced an earthquake that we described as the disaster of the century. Under the leadership of our President, our government and state made the necessary efforts and these cities started to be rebuilt. May God Almighty protect the Islamic world and our country from such disasters again. I hope 2024 will be a better year than 2023. "I hope we will have a more productive year in these days when the Turkish century begins," he said.

Both the sadness we experienced due to the earthquake and the inhumane tragedy that followed in Gaza make us all sad. As our President said, we wish for a more fair world.
