KAYMEK Students Became One Heart for Sarıkamış Martyrs

Young people studying at the Metropolitan Municipality's KAYMEK Youth Centers reenacted the Sarıkamış Operation that took place 109 years ago in Cumhuriyet Square.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç watched the theatrical performance of the students studying at KAYMEK Youth Centers within the scope of the Sarıkamış Martyrs' Commemoration Program. Mayor Büyükkılıç said, "I commemorate the Sarıkamış Martyrs with mercy and gratitude." THE EPIC OF SARIKAMIŞ WAS REVISED ONE TO ONE

Following the moment of silence and the recitation of the Holy Quran after the National Anthem, the martyrs of the Sarıkamış Operation were commemorated with a theatrical show by the students studying at KAYMEK Youth Centers. Young people studying at the KAYMEK theater course created a frozen image with various make-up techniques and animated slow movements to describe Sarıkamış. The martyrs of the soldiers martyred in Sarıkamış were recreated.

In his statement about the program, Büyükkılıç commemorated the martyrs with gratitude, wishing God's mercy to all the martyrs. While commemorating their memories, I would like to continue my words by remembering our 12 martyrs in the last period in the person of these martyrs, and before that, our 7 brothers who were martyred at the stop in front of Erciyes University, whose 15th anniversary we remember, and of course all our martyrs. First of all, I congratulate our KAYMEK. While I congratulate us every year for the work our young people do on this meaningful day that reminds us theatrically, I also congratulate them for the services we provide to hundreds of thousands of people both in the city center and in other surrounding districts and their approach that attaches importance to values ​​in their social, cultural, educational and other purposes. .
