768 Million TL Grant Support for Livestock and Food Processing Sector

In his statement on January 16, 2024, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that 282 million lira grant support will be provided to 768 projects in the livestock and food processing sectors.

Minister Yumaklı stated that they provided grant support to support rural development and create employment and said, “Our livestock and food processing sectors have an important place for our country's economy. “We are working to support these sectors, increase the welfare of our citizens living in rural areas and ensure our food security.” said.

Projects that will benefit from grant support include livestock farms, milk and dairy products facilities, meat and meat product facilities, beekeeping and sericulture facilities. Stating that grant support can reach up to 70 percent of the total cost of the projects, Minister Yumaklı said that producers who want to benefit from the support can apply to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry until February 1, 2024.
