Yerköy District Governor Muharrem Coşgun and AK Party Yerköy District Chairman Hacı Dereli examined the construction works of Yerköy High Speed Train (YHT) station.
Officials who received information about the construction works stated that the station is planned to be opened in March.
In his statement to journalists, Dereli stated that YHT Yerköy Station is planned to be opened in March and said, “It will take 45 minutes between Ankara and Yerköy via YHT. I hope that this huge investment will be beneficial to our city and district. “May God bless everyone who contributed.” said.
Yerköy YHT station is located on the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train line. The station is located 5 km north of Yerköy district center.
With the opening of YHT Yerköy Station, transportation time between Ankara and Yerköy will be reduced to 45 minutes. This will make Yerköy's transportation to Ankara easier and faster.
