The talk titled "TÜRASAŞ from Past to Today", organized by Anadolu University Career Center (ANAKARİYER) within the scope of the 100th Anniversary of our Republic Activities, was held at Anadolu University Student Center Nasrettin Hoca Hall. ANAKARİYER Director Assoc. Dr. Tekeli: “It gave life to both the economy and social life”

Making the opening speech, ANAKARİYER Director Assoc. Dr. In her speech, Seda Tekeli talked about the importance of TÜRASAŞ for Eskişehir as follows: “In the first years of our Republic, the factories established by the state not only contributed to the economy, but also played a major role in the development of social life. Eskişehir, which has a strategic location throughout history, has also been of great importance for industry. TÜRASAŞ Eskişehir Regional Directorate was established in 1894 as a maintenance and repair workshop. Ceramic Workshops are considered the first foundations of Eskişehir's industrialization. TÜRASAŞ Eskişehir Regional Directorate still continues to be an important employment center of the city.”

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tuncan: “Technological developments cannot be achieved only through engineering”

Prof. moderated the conversation. Dr. Mustafa Tuncan gave advice to the students who participated in the interview for their careers and continued his speech as follows: “The initial purpose of TÜRASAŞ was military, then economic contributions were also made, but today rail systems have become an industry. Even though we are a complete technological base in terms of production, we still have to benefit from different disciplines within this industry. “Technological developments do not happen only through engineering.”

TÜRASAŞ Eskişehir Regional Manager Isın: “We are breaking new ground”

TÜRASAŞ Eskişehir Regional Manager Ali Rıza Isın conveyed information about the historical development of TÜRASAŞ to the participants. Talking about the firsts achieved by TÜRASAŞ throughout its history, Isın said, “Formerly known as 'Türkiye Lokomotiv ve Motor Sanayi A.Ş. Our institution, (TÜLOMSAŞ), has been operating as Türkiye Rail System Vehicles Industry Inc. since March 2020. It serves as (TÜRASAŞ). We have been in existence for more than a century. We have achieved many firsts. For example, we are in the production process of the first Turkish automobile 'Devrim', the first steam locomotive 'Karakurt', the first Turkish rocket launcher 'TRA-100' and currently Turkey's first Electric Main Line Locomotive named 'E5000'. “This will be a locomotive with the first national and domestic design and software.” he said. Regional Manager Isın ended his speech by talking about TÜRASAŞ's "Apprentice Training Centers".

TÜRASAŞ Customer Relations Chief Şimşek: “Today, we produce continuously with seven different factories.”

In her presentation, TÜRASAŞ Eskişehir Customer Relations Chief Gözde Hatun Şimşek talked about the development of TÜRASAŞ from past to present and the activities it currently carries out as follows: “We see 1894 as our founding year. TÜRASAŞ, which was founded under the name 'Osmanlı Kumpanyası', later took the name 'Cer Atölyesi'. Traction means pulling power. TÜRASAŞ is a leading company in the formation of business culture and worker culture. By connecting to the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) in 1924, a step was taken from the workshop to the factory. "We are gradually becoming a full-fledged company and today we continue our operations with seven different factories." Customer Relations Chief Hatun Şimşek ended her speech by talking about how all seven factories work and what they produce.

At the end of the seminar, participants' questions were answered; The Revolution car model brought by TÜRASAŞ officials was presented to the participants with a raffle and participation certificates were given to TÜRASAŞ officials by ANAKARİYER.
