Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made a speech at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on the 2024 budget of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and its affiliated organizations. Stating that the firsts have been achieved with large and important projects in the field of transportation and communication in the last 21 years, Uraloğlu said, “We have implemented an investment of 21 billion dollars in the last 198 years. Considering international foreign exchange commodity prices, the current asset value of our Ministry's investments is 250 billion dollars in total. This situation is an example of how the investment decisions we make at the right time with the right financing methods contribute to our country. "Of these investments, 42 billion dollars were made within the scope of Public Private Partnership projects," he said.

Stating that they continue their work without slowing down with a total of 2 thousand people working in 751 thousand 223 projects across the country, Minister Uraloğlu said, “With the investments realized; We strive to meet citizens' transportation demands at the highest level by contributing to traffic safety. In this context, we planned the transportation and infrastructure investments that our country needs for the next 30 years. "We aim to make additional investments worth a total of 197 billion dollars," he said.

At the General Assembly, Uraloğlu gave the following information about the completed, ongoing and planned projects: "We opened the first part of Aydın Denizli Highway to traffic, and we will put the second part into service in 2024," he said. The 2024 budget of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and affiliated institutions was accepted at the General Assembly.
