In the field of Defense Industry, the area where the 'card system' production will be made by ASELSAN in Malatya has been determined.
ASELSAN technical team, which came to Malatya recently and examined the places shown by Malatya Metropolitan Municipality in technical terms, determined the area where the card system production will be made.
Making a statement about the investment to be made, Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selahattin Gürkan said, “Our country has made and continues to make important investments in the defense industry under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In this sense, we met with our President, together with our Deputy Bülent Tüfenkci, to make an investment in the field of defense industry in Malatya. Our esteemed President gave instructions to our Ministry of National Defense on this issue and stated that Malatya is very important for him and that the investment in the defense industry should be made in Malatya.
In this regard, the technical teams of our company ASELSAN, one of the important organizations of our country, came to our city and made inspections. Together with our friends, we showed them the areas where they can invest. For the Card System investment, friends in the technical team made their inspections in a campus with a closed area of 2 thousand square meters in the 5nd Organized Industrial Zone. Today, in our meeting with Deputy Minister of National Defense Alpaslan Kavaklıoğlu, our Deputy Minister stated to us that the location determined is suitable and that the work will begin quickly. We stated to our Deputy Minister that we, as the Metropolitan Municipality, will do whatever we can. A truly important investment will be made for both our country and our province. It will also contribute to the employment of our city.
