WOMEN ARE BECOME PROFESSIONALS
Training is given in ORMEKs in Altınordu, Fatsa and Ünye districts in the field of food and beverage services in assistant cook, wet cake making, Gaziantep cuisine, cook apprentice, pastry apprentice and kadayıf making courses. Trainees learn how to make numerous types of dishes and cakes, from Turkish cuisine to world cuisine, in the courses they attend. Trainees receive practical training by expert trainers in ORMEK kitchens on certain days of the week, gaining professionalism and acquiring a profession.
CERTIFICATE IS GIVEN AT THE END OF THE COURSE
Trainees who complete the maximum specified training hours are entitled to receive documents approved by the Ministry of National Education at the end of the course.

On the other hand, the women of Ordu did not accept that borscht, one of the favorite dishes of the people of Ordu, ranked 100th in a survey in which a gastronomy magazine selected the 7 worst dishes in the world. Women attending Food and Beverage Services Courses reacted to the situation and focused on making borscht. The women said, "The crown jewel of our tables is borscht," and stated that they would do their best to promote borscht.
