Hosted by Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Düzce University Faculty of Civil Engineering Lecturer Prof. Dr. A seminar on the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Train (YHT) Line, planned to be built by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, was held with the participation of Ayhan Şamandar.
Abdullah Alemdar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of our Chamber, made the opening speech of the seminar held in the Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Assembly Hall; “An important element shaping the mobility and connectivity of the modern world is High Speed trains. High Speed Rail has the potential to stimulate intercity trade and economic activities. Being able to transport products faster and at lower costs provides a great advantage for the business world. It promotes economic growth by contributing to the development of trade and business relations. "In this regard, the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Train route should be arranged to pass through our city and this great service should be brought to our city and region," he said.
After Mayor Alemdar's speech, Düzce University Faculty of Civil Engineering faculty member Prof. Dr. Ayhan Şamandar made his presentation on "Route Selection on the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Train Line".
Prof. dr. Ayhan Şamandar gave information about the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Train Line project planned by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and made many suggestions on how Bolu can benefit from this project in the most efficient way.
The seminar ended with answering the questions of the participants.
