Work continues at full speed on the Kartepe Cable Car project, which is built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and will turn a 50-year dream into reality. Within the scope of the project, work continues on an area of ​​200 thousand square meters in Kuzuyayla Nature Park. The project, where infrastructure and superstructure works are carried out in coordination, is progressing meticulously. Kuzuyayla, which will attract great attention from citizens, will be at the forefront as an alternative option for nature lovers.

IN AN AREA OF 200 THOUSAND SQUARE METERS

Within the scope of the 200 thousand square meter project, there will be picnic areas, natural gas barbecue unit, restaurant, prayer room, tiny house area, caravan camping area, car park, nature school, carriage cafe and sales points. The progress of the restaurant, which will serve 285 people at the same time, has reached 40 percent. Work continues in coordination at other points.

BETWEEN DERBENT-KUZUYAYLA

Work continues intensively on the cable car line from Derbent to Kuzuyayla. Kartepe Cable Car line will be 4 thousand 695 meters long. The system will consist of a single rope, detachable terminal blocks and cabins for 10 people. 2 cabins will serve in the cable car project, which will include 73 stations. The elevation distance on the cable car line, which has a capacity to carry 500 people per hour, will be 90 meters. Accordingly, the starting elevation will be 331 meters and the arrival elevation will be 1421 meters. The distance between the two stations will be covered in 14 minutes.

INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS ARE ALSO DONE

On the other hand, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality's investments in the region are not limited to just the superstructure. The Metropolitan Municipality, which also takes care of the infrastructure, is also working on drinking water and waste water lines. With the completion of the work, the drinking water and wastewater needs of the new social facilities to be built in the region will be met. After the completion of the works carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality, Kuzuyayla is expected to host many visitors.
