Significant progress has been made in the construction and renovation works initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in the earthquake zone. In Malatya, one of the provinces most affected by the February 6 earthquakes, the construction of disaster residences and village houses in line with the texture of the city and where neighborhood culture can be experienced continues uninterruptedly.

Minister Özhaseki stated that they will build a total of 77 thousand 717 independent sections in Malatya, including 25 thousand 302 disaster residences, 27 thousand 400 village houses, 130 thousand 419 warehouses and workplaces.

“WE CONTINUE THE CONSTRUCTION OF 23 THOUSAND 861 DISASTER RESIDENCES AND VILLAGE HOUSES WITHOUT SPEED”

In his post, Minister Özhaseki stated that they continued the construction of 23 thousand 861 disaster residences and village houses without slowing down in the construction and revival works that started after the earthquake in Malatya.

“WE WILL DELIVER OUR RESIDENCES PATTERLY WITHIN 2 MONTHS”

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki, in his post on his official social media account, stated that houses are rising in Malatya and that they will begin to deliver them to earthquake-affected citizens gradually within two months.

Stating in his post that they have built solid, safe and climate-friendly houses where citizens can experience the neighborhood culture, Minister Özhaseki also gave information about the number of applicants for the "On-Site Transformation" project in Malatya. Minister Özhaseki said, “In our On-Site Transformation project, the number of applications in Malatya has been 30 thousand 215 so far. “We continue to work together to transform our homes and workplaces on site.” said.
