A bear died after being hit by a train on the railway near the village of Cemaller in the central district of Karabük.
The incident occurred yesterday evening. The bear, which was thought to have come down from the forest and entered the railway, was seriously injured when it was hit by the train. Citizens removed the bear they found from the road and reported the situation to Karabük Nature Conservation and National Parks Branch.
The teams arrived at the scene and buried the perished bear after the investigation.
