The Izmir – Ankara High Speed Train Project, which connects Izmir and Manisa, Uşak and Afyonkarahisar on its route to Ankara, continues at full speed. While the existing railway between Izmir and Ankara is 824 kilometers and the travel time takes approximately 14 hours, thanks to the high-speed train project, the distance between the two cities will be reduced to 624 kilometers and the travel time will be reduced to 3 hours and 30 minutes.
