The opening ceremony of the 4th Asian Paralympic Games was held in Hangzhou. At the joint press conference held by the Asian Paralympic Games Committee and the Hangzhou Asian Paralympic Games Committee, it was reported that all preparatory work for the games has been completed.
According to the information given at the press conference, approximately 22 athletes from 564 countries will compete in 44 branches in 3 categories within the scope of the Paralympic Games.
In addition to the athletes, 2 officials, 90 technical personnel and 550 press members will participate in the games.
It was stated that the Hangzhou Paralympic Games will be the largest Asian Paralympic Games in history in terms of the number of participants.
100 barrier-free beds and special dining areas were also provided to provide better service to the athletes participating in the games.
