It has been announced that the C919 passenger plane developed by China has received more than a thousand orders so far. He Dongfeng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Commercial Aircraft Corporation (CACC), gave information about China's domestic commercial aircraft at the 2023 Pujiang Innovation Forum held in Shanghai.
He Dongfeng stated that as a result of 15 years of innovative development process, the product family consisting of C919 medium and short-haul narrow-body passenger aircraft, ARJ21 short-haul passenger aircraft and C929 medium and long-haul wide-body passenger aircraft was created in China.
He stated that two of the C28 passenger planes, which started commercial flights on May 919, are currently in service and that the company has received 1061 orders. The official noted that 112 ARJ21 type passenger aircraft are currently in service, and this model has received 775 orders.
He Dongfeng also stated that the range of the C250 passenger aircraft, which will be the first intercontinental jet aircraft with a capacity of 350 to 929 seats, will reach 12 thousand kilometers and that the aircraft is currently in the preliminary design phase.
