46 days of work will be carried out on the section of the Istanbul-Ankara highway between Kaynaşlı-Abant junctions. The 23-kilometer section, including the Bolu Mountain Tunnel, will be closed to traffic. Is TEM Istanbul-Ankara highway closed or open? When will be opened? The 23-kilometer section at the Bolu Mountain crossing Kaynaşlı-Abant junctions of the Istanbul-Ankara highway will be closed to traffic between 25 September and 9 November due to maintenance and repair work.

According to the statement made by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, work will be carried out on the 23-kilometer section of the highway in the Istanbul-Ankara direction, including the Bolu Mountain Tunnel.

Within the scope of the work, the tunnel portals will be extended to the Kaynaşlı direction as steel construction. 3 joint replacements will be carried out in 5 viaducts. Due to these works, traffic flow will be stopped for 25 days, from 08.00:9 on September 17.00 to 46:XNUMX on November XNUMX.

During this period, traffic in the direction of Ankara will be provided via the D-100 State Road. Vehicles using the road will be directed to the D-100 highway from Kaynaşlı junction. It will turn back onto the highway at Abant junction. The Istanbul direction of the highway will continue to serve.
