Türksat General Manager Hasan Hüseyin Ertok, Afyonkarahisar Governor Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı, Mayor Mehmet Zeybek, Deputies Av. Ali Ozkaya, Adv. Ibrahim Yurduseven, Dr. Hasan Arslan, Deputy Chairman of the Turkish Motorcycle Federation Mahmut Nedim Akulke and Irmak Yıldırım, who will represent our country in the World Women's Motocross Championship, and guests attended.

Türksat A.Ş. stated that the interest in sports branches such as motocross that require speed and courage is increasing day by day in Turkey and that the athletes who set their heart on these sports branches should be supported. General Manager Ertok said, “The Turkish leg of the World Motocross Championship, where the world's most important motocrossers compete under the auspices of our Presidency, is of great importance at this point. Our people's awareness and interest in sports is increasing with live broadcasts of sports tournaments such as motocross, which have a high audience and enjoyment to watch in the world. This interest will perhaps pave the way for our young people to use the speed not on intercity roads, but in sports fields where the world's eyes are on, to make Turkey's name heard. As Türksat, we are happy to be able to deliver the World Motocross Championship to approximately 180 billion viewers in nearly 3 countries via Türksat satellites.”

Afyonkarahisar Mayor Zeybek stated that when they first started the motocross championship in 2018, they set out with an audience of 5 thousand people and that they were awarded the best track in the world, the best paddock award in the world, as well as the best promotion award last year, by the World Motorsports Federations. We are working to attract our young people from different social areas to sports fields with such organizations, whether it is the promotion of our country and our province. I would like to thank our President for his unwavering support. They did not withhold from us the protection we demand almost every year. Every year, we do it with more participation than the previous year. I fully believe that this year's participation will be more intense," he said.

Afyonkarahisar Governor Yiğitbaşı pointed out that competitions were held in separate categories such as World Seniors, World Juniors, World Women and European Motocross Championships, and stated that they had 7 competitors from Afyonkarahisar this year and the increase in the number made them happy.

Turkish Motorcycle Federation Vice President Akulke stated that they will continue their cooperation with Türksat and noted that they reached 2018 thousand spectators last year, and they expect around 5 thousand spectators this year, in the adventure they started with 260 thousand spectators in 350.
