SAMKON will organize a "Liberation Road Cycling Tour" from Samsun to Ankara between 30 August and 2 September 2023, dedicated to the new century of the Republic. The last stop of the bike tour, which will end in the first parliament building of the Republic, will be Kahramankazan. National cyclists departing from Samsun within the scope of the event will reach Ankara at the end of 4 days.
This special bike tour, with a total length of 600 km, will continue in 4 days and 4 stages, covering regions with historical and cultural values such as Havza, Amasya, Çorum and Çankırı, and will end in Kahramankazan. Event and cultural tents, concerts, which will be set up throughout the tour, will revive the spirit of the National Struggle and offer a platform to convey this important period to the younger generations.
Emphasizing that they will be happy to host bicycle lovers on the occasion of the August 30 Victory Day, Kahramankazan Mayor Serhat Oğuz said: This event, organized under the name of 'Liberation Road Cycling Tour', has a special meaning to emphasize the importance and value of our national struggle while celebrating the 100th anniversary of the foundation of our Republic. This historical journey, starting from Samsun and extending to Ankara, offers an important opportunity to remind the great heroes of our past, as well as to encourage healthy life and sports. As Kahramankazan, we will do our best to provide an unforgettable experience to the participants and to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic with enthusiasm. I believe that it will be an event where we all remember the values of our past and pedal with hope for the future.”

Social responsibility project
Explaining that they will include a social responsibility project within the scope of this year's "Liberation Road Cycling Tour", SAMKON Chairman Hasan Kaya Aşçı said, "We will make a special visit to the village schools on the route with our social responsibility project. In order to contribute to education, we will reach these village schools and give away a total of 100 bicycles. Thus, we will present an unforgettable gift to children by enabling them to meet cycling and discover the beauty of sport.” he said.
On the bike tour that will last for 4 days; In 4 stages, 100 cyclists will pedal 600 kilometers. With the "Liberation Road Cycling Tour" organization to be organized by SAMKON, child cyclists will also compete with their peers by pedaling for 1 kilometer.
