Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek visited the Togg production and technology campus in Gemlik and made statements.
Ministers Kacır and Şimşek examined the production stages of Togg one by one and received information from the authorities. with Togg employees sohbet Rifat Hisarcılıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, accompanied the ministers. The two ministers then got behind the wheel of Togg and tested the car.
STEP BY STEP TO THE YEAR-END TARGETS
Minister Kacır made a statement after the visit and stated that the number of Toggs delivered in the first half of August exceeded the total of July and said that a total of 28 thousand Togg T10X will be produced by the end of the year. Kacır stated that they will continue to support Togg so that it becomes a successful brand not only in Turkey but also in international markets, as the Turkish State; “By starting the production of Togg on October 29, 2022, we have stepped into the 100th Anniversary of our Republic with the production of our national smart car. The production level is increasing day by day. Here, we witnessed together the level of the productive power of the Turkish Industry. Turkey has come to the point of being a country that can produce industrial products with high added value, high technology and R&D with its national resources. As the Turkish State, we will continue to support our domestic and national brand so that Togg will become a successful brand not only in Turkey but also in international markets. There were 177 preliminary requests for the Togg, a total of 28 vehicles will be produced this year, but next year this number will double and a half." said.
MINISTER ŞİMŞEK: A GREAT TECHNOLOGY CAMPUS
Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Treasury and Finance, also received information from the relevant people during his visit to the technology campus.
