Applications for the new term of Arkitera Travel Scholarship, Turkey's first travel scholarship in the field of architecture, have started. The applications for the new term of the “Arkitera Travel Scholarship”, Turkey's first travel scholarship in the field of architecture, started in 2010 by the Arkitera Architecture Center and has been sponsored by Geberit Turkey since 2017. Applications to be made with the theme of "Trust in Unity in Design" will end on October 27, 2023.

Arkitera Travel Scholarship will be given to students and graduates of architecture, urban and regional planning, interior architecture, landscape architecture and industrial product design departments in Turkey. Within the scope of the scholarship, the selected 10 people will travel abroad for a week and have the opportunity to visit architecture schools, studios and exhibitions in different countries during this trip.

The theme of this year's scholarship is “Trust in Togetherness in Design”. Geberit's global theme for 2023 is “Experience the Comfort of Trust. We are with you”.

Within the scope of the application, the participants will discuss how the concept of trust can come together with the concepts of "need for shelter" and "living together" by creating a route through the title of "Trust in Togetherness in Design". At the same time, they will explore and document the role of the concept of “togetherness” from design processes to design practices and transformations of designs, and the approaches that make different issues such as the housing crisis, participatory practices, and common life talkable today.

Arkitera Travel Scholarship 2023 jury; It consists of Architect Banu Flight, Architect Kerim Miskavi, 2022 Arkitera Travel Scholarship winner Tuğçe Topada, an Arkitera representative and a Geberit representative.

Arkitera Travel Scholarship 2023, born between 1 January 1998 and 31 December 2003; It will be open to the participation of students or graduates of architecture, urban and regional planning, interior architecture, landscape architecture and industrial product design.
